So, I'm making a bonnet for my Opheliamonster. And she's officially mine, because after her mum she loves me best. <3
Anyway, I'm doing a top-down one that I fought with last winter. I hated the figure 8 cast on like burning, so I decided to cheat and use a provisional cast on instead. Cue FIVE false starts because I couldn't get the live stitches onto the second needle without dropping the end one and making a giant hole. Fuck it, says I, I'll do the stupid figure 8.
And it worked on the first try. Story of my life.
(But, yay! Bonnet is started!)
