Viking hat is progressing nicely. I'm almost done the band, yay! Those rivets took a hell of a long time. I'm still not sure about the fit, but I'm thinking too big is better than too small. It's funny, my sister and I first discussed this hat last winter, and I knew I could make it in a theoretical sense. As in, I knew how to knit, but it seemed like an insurmountable task to make something that complicated.

And here I am. I just picked up my needles, did a little math, and dove right in. I'm so freaking proud of myself.
